Rurubu Small Bowl

This sisal, woven bowl is 8" in diameter and woven by artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda.  The sisal is woven around sweetgrass, a fragrant grass with a subtle sweetness. Each bowl comes with a loop attached to the back so that you can hang it on the wall.  Additionally, they make beautiful table displays and are functional as well.

These bowls are designed in Portland, OR and made by artisans in Africa.  The mission of the company from which these are sourced is to create jobs, promote education, and improve the quality of life in Africa.  The artisans in Africa are provided with skills training, market access, fair pay and a path for economic independence.
